SINGING

The Simple Joys of Maidenhood

On October 9th, 2021 I performed at Carnegie Hall for a Music for Change benefit concert. I was one of 24 performers who was selected after auditioning. This was an incredible experience and I learned so much about the professional world at this level of the industry.

In 2021 I successfully auditioned for the New Jersey All State Choir and earned a very prestigious rank of #1 soprano 2 in the state. This ranking made me eligible to audition for the New Jersey Governor's Award in Vocal Music. After submitting my audition video in which I sang "I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady and a letter indicating an expressing my interest in this award, I became one of four high school singers in New Jersey to be selected as an award recipient. I was also chosen to perform at the award ceremony that was held at the Trenton War Memorial Patriot's Theater in May of 2022. This was a tremendous honor and I was so humbled to have earned this award.
